Borneo Rainforest Resort, Lambir Hills, Miri (5km after Lambir National Park HQ Entry).
Absolutely No littering in the jungle or in the resort. This is pristine nature, we can not spoil it. We want to use the same facilities in the future and if we litter, we may not be welcome again.
Make sure you take your ticket – No ticket – No entry!! Make sure you bring sufficient oral dehydration salt (ORS), Cream (such as Metsal) against cramp etc. Some may be available on site but cannot be guaranteed.
No transport to the Site, take your own car or follow a friend. Plenty of parking space.
Ballbreaker Run starts 0900 hrs sharp from the Borneo Rainforest Resort. Run length 23km, water stop after 16km with provision of water, 100+, some cola, water melon and maybe some BBQ.
At the water stop there is the ability to stop and be brought back to the Borneo Rainforest Resort by 4 wheel drive car (provided).
Entry to the second leg of the run (7km) will be allowed till 1400 hrs (2 o’clock PM), thereafter the Second leg will be closed.
Special “Long” run of 7km (partly different trail from Ballbreaker run) will also start at the Borneo Rainforest Resort.
Start any time between 0900 hrs and 1400 hrs (2 o’clock PM).
After the run softies and some beer will be provided. Details as advised by organising committee.
Evening party starts at 1900 hrs (7 o’clock PM) in Borneo Rainforest Resort.
Party with dinner, beer and softies (details to be advised by organisers), entertainment, down-down’s etc.
Survivors of the complete Ballbreaker run will earn a special “Survivor” T-shirt and a certificate of achievement.
